About Nina

Hello everyone! I’m Nina and I’m endlessly curious about languages, linguistics and etymology.

My languages:

I speak: English, Spanish, Valencian, Croatian, Mandarin — I’ve got C1 (or higher) certificates to show for all of these!
I can survive in: Italian, Russian, German
I failed at learning: Finnish, Lithuanian

I’m NOT a native Spanish speaker. However, I learned 3 languages as an adult to a C1+ level and I know how I can get you to where you want to be. Spanish is one of those languages — everything you’re struggling with now, I struggled with that too. Every question you have, I asked it as well. Embarrassing situations? Plenty of them. Come learn from my mistakes 😀

Work experience:

Teaching since 2016
Translation 2013-2017

Education:

Bachelor’s and master’s in Economics (useless)
Bachelor’s and master’s in Linguistics (yeah baby!)

Other:

I practice acroyoga and handstands. My friends and I organise events related to movement and well-being. Check us out: Acroyoga Club and Fusion Circus.

And this is I, Le Nina, with my lovely Spanish conversation group. Can you guess which one is me?
